Letter To Parents

Dear Mum & Dad,

I hate it that you cannot let me live in peace in my own house. I hate it that I have to live in exile from my own house in order to have a little peace and space to be myself.

The rental money which could have gone to your pockets is now in other people’s hands. What fools you are.

How many years of youth have I wasted sunken in depression and attempts to clear my mind from anger and frustration. Only to have them filled up quickly again when you come near. And you wonder why I have erected a wall to protect myself from you.

In my eyes, you have failed as parents.
